BC680R is a ATX motherboard built with LGA1700 CPU socket, Intel® R680E PCH with x8 Gen4 DMI and capable to support 12th Gen Intel® Core® i9/i7/i5/i3, Pentium®, Celeron®, up to 16 Cores 24 Threads Hybrid Processors. 4 x DIMM slots support DDR5 4800MHz system memory up to 128GB with ECC support. The board provide rich expansion slots including 1 x Gen 5 PCIe x16, 2 x Gen 4 PCIe x4, 1 x Gen 3 PCIe x4, 1 x Gen 3 PCIe x1, 2 x Gen 3 PCIe x1 Open Ended, 1 x M.2 M-Key 2242/2280/22110 NVMe (PCIe x4 + SATA III), 1 x M.2 M-Key 2242/2280/22110 NVMe (PCIe x4 Only), and 1 x M.2 E-Key 2230 with CNVi Support (PCIe x 1 + USB 2.0). For LAN ports, BC680R is spec'd with 2 of the Intel® I225-LM Ethernet controllers providing 2.5GbE speed via 2 RJ45 interfaces. When coupled with select processors, the board supports integrated Intel® Iris® Xe Graphic and 4 multiple displays via 2 HDMI and 2 DisplayPorts. BC680R provide rich USB interfaces including 2 x USB 3.2 Gen 2x1 (6 Ports), 1 x USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 Type-C, 4 x USB 2.0 Headers (8 Ports), 1 x USB 3.2 Gen 2 (2 Ports), and 1 x Thunderbolt™ Header. The board also provides 6 COM ports and 4 SATA III and supports Windows 10, 11 and Linux OS.
