Susie Giordano is corporate vice president in the Growth Acceleration Team, corporate secretary and interim general counsel at Intel Corporation. She oversees the Corporate Legal Group, with a focus on corporate governance, board and stockholder relations, corporate finance and reporting, treasury, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and other corporate and strategic transactions involving Intel and Intel Capital.
Prior to this role, Giordano was a vice president and the managing director of Intel Capital, where she provided primary legal support to the president of Intel Capital, Intel’s global investment organization that makes equity investments in innovative technology startups and companies worldwide in support of Intel’s strategic objectives, and handles acquisitions, divestitures and other strategic transactions.
Giordano joined Intel Capital in 2011 as M&A counsel, supporting mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and other strategic transactions. In 2014, she became managing director of M&A legal, overseeing the group responsible for these transactions. She assumed her role as managing director of Intel Capital and M&A legal in 2015.
Before joining Intel, Giordano spent three years as president and CEO at Deal Fusion PC, an M&A legal consulting firm, and five years at Sun Microsystems Inc., culminating in her role as director of M&A and strategic investments. Earlier in her career, she was an attorney with the law firm Gunderson Dettmer and the law firm Brobeck, Phleger & Harrison LLP.
Giordano earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, and a law degree from the University of San Francisco.
