Introduction

Provides Windows* driver for 6Gbs (Gen1) Intel RAID Controllers. As of February 19, 2024, no functional, security, or other updates will be provided for the Windows* Driver for Intel® RAID Controller RS2WC080, RS2WC040, RS2BL080, RS2BL040, RS2MB044, RS2PI008(DE), RS2SG244, RS2VB080, RS2VB040, RS2WG160 products. All versions are provided as is. Intel recommends that users of the Windows* Driver for Intel® RAID Controller RS2WC080, RS2WC040, RS2BL080, RS2BL040, RS2MB044, RS2PI008(DE), RS2SG244, RS2VB080, RS2VB040, RS2WG160 products discontinue use as soon as possible.

Detailed Description

Purpose
Installs Windows driver for the following 6Gbs (Gen1) Intel RAID Controllers:

  • Full featured (RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50, 60)
    • Intel® RAID Controller RS2BL080, RS2BL040, RS2MB044, RS2PI008(DE), RS2SG244, RS2VB080, RS2VB040, RS2WG160
  • Entry level (RAID 0, 1, 5, 10, 50)
    • Intel® RAID Controller RS2WC080, RS2WC040
