11.5.5. Improving Efficiency When In-line ECC is Enabled

When enabled, the Inline-ECC option (available in LPDDR4 and LPDDR5) reduces the controller efficiency for write transactions.

To mitigate this issue, Altera recommends that you enable the Data Mask option whenever the Inline-ECC option is enabled in your design.
