2.2. Hardware and Software Requirements

Intel uses the following hardware and software to test the design example:

Hardware

  • Agilex™ I-Series SoC Development Kit FA or FB
  • SDI Signal Generator
  • SDI Signal Analyzer
  • BNC to BNC cables
  • Nextera Video VIDIO* FMC Development Module 12G SDI FMC daughter card (VIDIO-12G-A)

Software

  • Quartus® Prime Pro Edition software
  • Ashling RiscFree* integrated development environment (IDE) for Intel FPGAs
  • Either one of the following simulators for functional simulation:
    • ModelSim* - Intel® FPGA Edition
    • Questa* Intel® FPGA Edition
    • VCS* / VCS* MX
    • Xcelium*
