1.1. New Features and Enhancements

Quartus® Prime Standard Edition Software Versions 25.1std include functional and security updates. Keep your software up-to-date and follow the technical recommendations that help improve the security of your Quartus® Prime installation.

Quartus® Prime Standard Edition Software Version 25.1std includes the following new features and enhancements:
  • Added support for the following new Arria® V devices:
    • 5AGTFD7K3F40I5-NC
    • 5AGXFB1H4F40C5-NL
    • 5AGXFB5K4F40I5-NL
    • 5AGXFB7K4F40C5-NL
    • 5AGXFB7K4F40I3-NL
    • 5AGXFB7K4F40I5-NL
    For these devices, support is provided for compilation, simulation, and timing analysis, and the device models, bitstreams, and firmware for the devices are finalized.

    Pin-out information is generated these devices and programming files are generated.

  • Support for the following MAX® 10 devices is finalized:
    • 10M40DDB610
    • 10M40SAB610
    • 10M50DDB610
    • 10M50SAB610
  • Enhanced Nios® V support as follows:
    • Enhanced ECC support for Nios® V/m.
    • Added a Signal Tap logic analyzer plugin.
    • Enhanced Nios® V/m and Nios® V/g processor with Core Local Interruptor (CLINT) Vectored mode.
    • Enhanced Nios® V/g processor with RISC-V Core Local Interrupt Controller (CLIC).
    • Enhanced Nios® V/g processor with Shadow Register.
  • Added support for the USB Blaster III FPGA Development Cable
    • Driver installation for USB Blaster III FPGA Development Cable is available as an "After-install action" in the Quartus® Prime installer.

Quartus® Prime Standard Edition Software Version 25.1std also includes bug fixes. Review Software Issues Resolved and Software Patches Included in this Release to see if this version contains fixes for or otherwise resolves any of your customer service ( Intel® Premier Support) requests.
