7.15. Auto-Negotiation and Link Training Interface

To enable the auto-negotiation and link training (AN/LT) interface, follow these steps:
  • Specify a virtual link at a top-level output port. This port becomes available only after you enable the Enable auto-negotiation and link training parameter in the F-Tile Ethernet Hard IP parameter editor.
  • During compilation, the Quartus Prime software automatically connects the F-Tile Ethernet Hard IP design to the F-Tile AN/LT IP.
