Developer Guide and Reference
floop-distribution, Qloop-distribution
Enables or disables the loop distribution optimization done by the compiler as part of loop transformations.
Syntax
Linux: |
-floop-distribution -fno-loop-distribution |
Windows: |
/Qloop-distribution /Qloop-distribution- |
Arguments
None
Default
-floop-distribution |
Loop distribution is performed during loop transformation at optimization levels of O2 and above. |
Description
This option enables or disables the loop distribution optimization done by the compiler as part of loop transformations. Loop distribution splits a single loop into multiple loops over the same iteration space, which can improve cache locality and allow parts of the original loop to be vectorized. This option takes effect only if you specify an optimization level of O2 or higher.
