The oneAPI industry initiative is a cross-industry, open, standards-based unified programming model that delivers a common developer experience across accelerator architecture for faster application performance, more productivity, and greater innovation. The panelists discuss the importance of having an open specification to truly democratize accelerator programming. They discuss status and scope of the oneAPI specification v1.0, availability of open-source implementations targeting diverse architectures, the Data Parallel C++ language and Khronos SYCL* relationship, and how the community can get involved in shaping the future of oneAPI.
Calling all C++, DPC++, and CUDA developers. We’re searching for the next oneAPI hero—someone who can write code that will run on the latest CPUs, GPUs, and FPGAs. Submit your best projects to win some amazing prizes.
