Integrate Intel® OSPRay into NCAR’s Visualization Package
Speaker: John Clyne, National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR)
VAPOR is the Visualization and Analysis Platform for Ocean, Atmosphere, and Solar Researchers. VAPOR provides an interactive 3D visualization environment that can also produce animations and still frame images. This talk discusses the recent successful integration of the Intel® oneAPI Rendering Toolkit and the benefits in performance, scalability, and high-fidelity ray-tracing visualization that it provides.
Calling all C++, DPC++, and CUDA developers. We’re searching for the next oneAPI hero—someone who can write code that will run on the latest CPUs, GPUs, and FPGAs. Submit your best projects to win some amazing prizes.
