Intel Software License Manager for FLEXlm* on Windows* issue: not a valid counted license

Problem : 

I have installed the Intel Software License Manager on my Windows* OS server, however, I got the error as below when I started the license manager: "The file you selected is not a valid counted license. Please select a different license file." Can you help me to fix this error?

Resolution : 

To work around this issue, please do the following:

1. Open a cmd prompt window
2. Run this command in the cmd prompt window:
   copy /y "%CommonProgramFiles%\Intel\FLEXlm\chklic.exe" "%TEMP%"
3. Restart the license manager from Start / All Programs / Intel Software Development Products / Configure Intel Software License Manager
