Description
This document targets users of the Open Quantum Safe (OQS) liboqs library who have integrated Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) into their systems. It highlights the performance benefits of Intel-led software optimizations for PQC algorithms—such as ML-KEM and ML-DSA—on Intel® Xeon® processors. Leveraging Intel® AVX2 and AVX-512 instruction sets, these enhancements significantly accelerate cryptographic operations, with up to 1.64x speed improvements. These gains are expected to boost the efficiency of PQC-enabled applications like secure communications and web services.
