Using the STREAM Triad benchmark to measure throughput, we found that Amazon EC2 M7i instances with 4th Gen Intel® Xeon® Scalable processors achieved up to 3.19 times the throughput of previous-gen M6a instances with 3rd Gen AMD EPYC processors and up to 1.48 times the throughput of current M7a instances.
