AWS has introduced two new families of general-purpose instances enabled by custom versions 4th gen Intel Xeon Scalable processors that deliver optimal performance.
M7i instances are perfect for customers familiar with M6i or older intel-based instances, such as M5. They pack a computing punch, with no hassles or on-prem labor, just point and click to scale up your processing power. Plus, soon-to-be-released, M7i bare metal instances offer additional built-in accelerators to optimize database performance and more. The next family of instances, M7i-flex, is completely new, exclusive to Intel, and perfect if you're looking to lower cloud spending.
