C3 High-CPU Virtual Machines (VMs) Enabled by the Latest Generation of Intel Xeon Scalable Processors Outperformed N2 Standard VMs with Older Processors
For businesses that rely on virtual machines to run compute-intensive workloads in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), selecting high-performing VMs can enable them to make the most of their investment. Using the SPECrate® 2017 Integer benchmark, we tested the compute performance of two GCP VM types: N2 standard with 2nd Gen Intel Xeon Scalable processors and C3 high-CPU featuring 4th Gen Intel Xeon Scalable processors.
