Description
If your organization uses NoSQL applications for ecommerce, media streaming, social media, or other activities, you need scalable, high-access performance for great quantities of data. Distributed databases such as Apache Cassandra offer a reliable architecture for such applications, but if your database workloads run in the cloud, your virtual machines (VMs) must be capable of handling user demand. Storage-optimized VMs that come with direct-attached NVMe storage are a great choice, but performance levels can vary from one storage-optimized VM to another, even those from the same cloud service provider.
