1. Download and install PROSet/Wireless WiFi Connection Utility 13.x.x. (version 13.1.1 or newer is recommended).
   
2. Create your Wi-Fi profiles.

2. Install the downloaded software, ensuring you select the option to install Intel® My WiFi Technology. You must have the required hardware to use this feature.

How do I install Intel® My WiFi Technology after the Intel® PROSet/Wireless WiFi Connection Utility is installed on Windows 7?

If you wish to use Intel® My WiFi Technology with compatible Intel wireless adapters, you will need to automatically detect the wireless adapter and download the software. Install the software by selecting the Custom option. Selecting Custom displays all the available software options, including the Intel® My WiFi Technology Software:

1. Click the drop-down menu icon for Intel® My WiFi Technology. Select This feature, and all subfeatures, will be installed on local hard drive.
2. Click Install. The installed components are listed in the Intel® PROSet/Wireless Installer after the software is installed on your computer.
3. Click Finish.

Driver-only

Intel recommends that you upgrade your driver after installing Windows 7.

Please refer to Where do I get WiMAX Software Updates? for WiMAX software information if you are using an Intel® WiMAX/WiFi Link 5350, Intel® WiMAX/WiFi Link 5150, or Intel® Centrino® Advanced-N + WiMAX 6250. The WiFi driver is included with Windows 7* as an Inbox Driver. It is automatically installed when you install the operating system.
