Your computer may be hanging, freezing, automatically rebooting, or displaying one of the following error messages:

If you are experiencing one of these errors, try each of the following suggestions listed below in order until your problem is resolved:
Obtain and install the latest wireless driver from your computer manufacturer.
Intel recommends downloading and installing the latest wireless driver from your computer manufacturer. Intel provides generic versions of the Intel wireless drivers through the Intel Web site; however, your computer manufacturer may have altered the features, incorporated customizations, or made other changes to the driver to support your computer.
Obtain and install the latest generic version of the Intel® wireless driver.
Your computer manufacturer may have altered the features, incorporated customizations, or made other changes to your adapter software. Please contact your computer manufacturer for the latest system specific updates and technical support information.
Run the Intel® Driver Update Utility to verify you have the latest version. If you do not, the tool will automatically update your driver.
If the issue continues after updating the wireless driver, use the following questions to help isolate the issue:
Does the issue occur when running a particular type of software?
If the issue always occurs when running a particular type of software, check with the software vendor for any available patches, fixes, special device settings, service packs, product updates or other such work-arounds.
When was the last time the system worked without errors? What changes were made since this time, such as driver updates, adding hardware, or installing software?
Try removing the changes (uninstall recently added hardware or software or roll back drivers to the previous version) to resolve issues.
