The wireless adapter property sheet in Microsoft Windows XP* provides information on the wireless adapter and driver on the computer.

Use one of the following methods to access the wireless adapter properties.

• Device Manager
• My Computer Icon
• Network Connections
• System Tray Icon

Device Manager

1. Click Start » Control Panel.
2. Double-click the System icon. Note: Select Switch to classic view if the system icon is not visible.
3. Click the Hardware tab.
4. Click Device Manager.
5. Click the + symbol in front of Network Adapters to expand the section.
6. Right-click the wireless adapter.
7. Click Properties.
8. Click the Driver tab to see the wireless adapter property sheet.

My Computer Icon

1. Right-click the My Computer icon located on the Desktop.
2. Click Properties.
3. Click the Hardware tab.
4. Click Device Manager.
5. Click the + symbol in front of Network Adapters to expand the section.
6. Right-click the wireless adapter.
7. Click Properties.
8. Click the Driver tab to see the wireless adapter property sheet.

Network Connections

1. Click Start » Control Panel.
2. Click Network Connections. Note: If Network Connections is not visible, select Network and Internet Connections » Network Connections.
3. Right-click Wireless Network Connection.
4. Click Properties.
5. Click Configure.
6. Click the Driver tab to see the wireless adapter property sheet.

System Tray Icon

1. Right-click the network system tray icon (the icon that displays two computer monitors).
2. Click Open Network and Connections.
3. Right-click Wireless Network Connection.
4. Click Properties.
5. Click Configure.
6. Click the Driver tab to see the wireless adapter property sheet.

Note: If the driver has been officially released, Microsoft* should be listed as the Digital Signer.
