If you have Intel® Ethernet adapters teamed and bound to Microsoft* Hyper-V's Virtual Network Switch Protocol, under Windows Server 2008 or 2008 R2*, you may get the error message below, while performing an update of your Intel Ethernet drivers and PROSet.
Error Message: Intel PROSet is configured with a team or VLAN that is bound to a virtual NIC. Intel® PROSet cannot be uninstalled with this configuration. Please remove the virtual NIC and then attempt the uninstall or upgrade again.

Solution:
- Temporarily change the Windows* Hyper-V virtual switch setting to 'Internal Only'.
- Run the Intel® Ethernet driver update utility.
- Change the Windows Hyper-V virtual switch setting back to the original Intel teamed interface.
