Intel® RAID Controller SASWT4I and SASUC8I IT Mode is native SAS mode without RAID function. The controllers support up to 122 physical devices in IT Mode.

Warning: For hard drives that are in IT (non-RAID) mode under operating systems, data will be lost if using Intel® RAID Web Console 2 to create Intel® IT/IR RAID. This happens even if partitions have already been made to the IT mode drives under operating systems.
