Use the following steps to confirm that the utility has been installed.

1. Click Start.
2. Click All Programs.
3. Click Intel® Matrix Storage Manager.
4. Click Intel® Matrix Storage Console and the Intel® Matrix Storage Console should open.

If you do not see the Intel® Matrix Storage Manager in the list, and the installation was done via have-disk, F6, or an unattended installation, you can use the following steps to confirm that the driver was successfully installed.

1. Click Start
2. Click Control Panel.
3. Double-click the System icon.
4. Click on the Hardware tab.
5. Click Device Manager.
6. Expand the SCSI and RAID Controllers entry.
7. Right-click on the Intel(R) 82801xR SATA RAID Controller.
8. Click on the Driver tab.
9. Click Driver Details. If the driver installation was successful, 'iaStor.sys' should be listed as a driver file.
