Use the following steps to confirm that the Intel® Matrix Storage Console has been installed.

1. Click Start.
2. Click All Programs.
3. Click Intel® Matrix Storage Manager.
4. Click Intel® Matrix Storage Console and the Intel Matrix Storage Console should open.

If you do not see the Intel Matrix Storage Manager in the list, and the installation was done via have-disk, F6, or an unattended installation, you can use the following steps to confirm that the driver was successfully installed.

1. Click Start
2. Click Control Panel.
3. Double-click the System icon.
4. Click on the Hardware tab.
5. Click Device Manager.
6. Expand the SCSI and RAID Controllers entry.
7. Right-click on the Intel® 82801xR SATA RAID Controller.
8. Click on the Driver tab.
9. Click Driver Details. If the driver installation was successful, 'iaStor.sys' should be listed as a driver file.
