Building awareness
In 2008, we provided corporate responsibility training to more than 160 of our suppliers, representing about 80 percent of our purchasing spends.
Encouraging green practices
In 2008, we established a green purchasing task force charged with developing clear goals, strategies, and awareness plans to further develop our green purchasing program.
Supplier resources
Our supplier Web site contains information about our human rights, ethics, environmental, health, and safety policies for suppliers; supplier diversity initiatives; supplier quality and recognition programs; and more.
Our expectations
We expect our employees and our suppliers to comply with the Electronics Industry Code of Conduct, which includes best practices adopted and implemented by major electronics companies, our customers, and their supply chains.
