Steve Agritelley is Director of the Health Research and Innovation Lab and is responsible for directing research for Intel’s growth in the personal health marketplace.
Steve joined Intel in 1996. He drove the development and implementation of ground breaking sensor net research for aging in place and established a user-centered process to define multiple products and product concepts feeding Intel’s health business. He also maintains the Technology Research for Independent Living Center in Ireland, a $33M co-investment with the Irish government and GE Healthcare.
Steve was born in New Britain, Connecticut. He received a degree in computer science from Stanford University. Prior to studying computer science, he had a successful career in music, playing drums and percussion with national touring companies of Broadway shows.
