1985 Fab 8 – Intel's first facility outside the USA for the manufacture of microprocessors and memory began operations in Har Hotzvim, Jerusalem.
1998 A development center in Jerusalem (formerly "Digital") was purchased and integrated into Intel Israel.

2001 A processor development center was established in Yakum Intel Israel's exports in 2001 were $1.756 billion—about $4.8 million a day.
2003 Intel Israel is a leading exporter in Israel. In March of 2003, Intel Corporation launched its Intel® Centrino® Processor Technology whose key design and development took place in Intel Israel's Design Centers.
2004 Intel Israel celebrates 30th anniversary.
2005 Intel Corporation announced it had entered into an agreement to acquire Oplus Technologies, Inc., a leading provider of video processing products and technologies for digital television and digital displays located in Yekneam, Israel.
2006-2007
- Intel's second Kiryat Gat's plant (Fab28) is being built at a total investment of 3.5 Billion Dollars. The plant will produce Intel's next generation products using 45 nanometer technology on 300mm wafers.
- Intel is building its first green building – IDC9 – as its new Developing Center in Haifa.
- Intel Israel export in 2006 – $1.3B.
- Number of Intel Israel employees in 2006 reached 6,820.
- Intel® Core™ 2 Duo processors, the heart of Intel's most advanced computing technologies, were developed in The development center in Haifa.
