Warning(20810): ECO command failed: legalize

Environment

    Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition

Description

Due to a problem with the Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 25.1 and earlier, you might see the "Warning(20810): ECO command failed: legalize" message when you execute the "Start Recompile" task from Signal Tap. 

Resolution

This message can be misleading, but it doesn't mean the ECO recompilation has failed unless indicated by an error message. You can safely ignore this warning.

This problem is scheduled to be fixed in a future release of the Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software.
