In the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Aoftware version 22.1, you may see this error when using a floating license. This error occurs because the FlexLM library has been upgraded to v11.18.2.0
The required version (11.18.2.0) is correctly stated on the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition software version 22.1 download page but the Intel® FPGA Software Installation and Licensing manual v22.1 does not show the new required version
To fix this error, upgrade the license daemon software on your license server to the newer version.
The new daemon software (alterad) is included in the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 22.1 or it can be downloaded from the Flexlm License Daemons for Intel FPGA Software page
The Intel® FPGA Software Installation and Licensing manual is scheduled to be updated to show the correct required version.
