Error (292019): Core Nios® II Processor (6AF7_00A2) is not enabled for current device family

    Description

    Due to a problem in the Quartus® II software versions 12.1 and 12.1 SP1, you might see this error when compiling Nios® II designs targeting Arria® V GZ devices.

    Resolution

    To avoid this problem, download and install the following patch:

    This issue is fixed beginning with the Quartus II software version 13.0.
