    Description

    Due to a problem in the Intel® Quartus® Prime software, you may see this error mesage during the compliation of the sequencer microcode when generating the External Memory Interface UniPHY IP. This issue occurs when the PC Windows Subsystem for Linux parameter is enabled and a bash.exe process is seen in Windows Task Manager.

    Resolution

    In the Windows Control Panel > Programs > Programs And Features > Turn Windows features on or off,  unselect the parameter : Windows Subsystem for Linux.

    Reboot the PC, open the Intel Quartus Prime project and regenerate the UniPHY IP.

    This problem is scheduled to be fixed in a future version of the Intel Quartus Prime software.
