Critical Issue

Description

If your Low Latency 40-100GbE IP core variation targets an Arria 10 device, the PTP module causes the IP core to malfunction. This issue applies only to Low Latency 40-100GbE IP cores that target an Arria 10 device.

Resolution

To avoid this issue, you must generate your IP core variation that targets an Arria 10 device without a PTP module, by turning off Enable PTP in the Low Latency 40-100GbE parameter editor.

This issue is fixed in version 14.0 Arria 10 Edition of the Low Latency 40- and 100-Gbps Ethernet MAC and PHY IP core.
