The Intel® SDK for OpenCL™ does not support spaces in project directory names. If you attempt to run the aoc compiler in a directory that contains spaces in the name, you may receive one of the following errors:
aocl_opt: Too many positional arguments specified. Can specify at most 1 positional arguments
dsdk.dll is missing
simulation.dll is missing
To work around this problem, please use project directories without spaces in the name or rename existing project directories so they do not have spaces in the directory names. Try the compile again using the new directory names. Future versions of documentation will have reminder notes added.
This is a scripting language limitation so this problem will not be fixed by changes in the Intel® SDK for OpenCL™.
