Can I use the Node Finder and the Assignment Editor to make timing constraints in TimeQuest?

Environment

Description

No, you cannot use the Quartus® II Node Finder or Assignment Editor to make timing constraints for the TimeQuest timing analyzer. To find node names for TimeQuest timing constraints, use the Name Finder in the TimeQuest user interface. The Name Finder is located in View menu on the TimeQuest menu bar.

You can also edit the SDC file to make timing constraints.

For more information about making timing assignments, refer to the TimeQuest Timing Analyzer (PDF) chapter in volume 3 of the Quartus II Handbook.
