Description
The Quartus® II software versions 8.0 SP1 and earlier on Linux or UNIX do not read quartus.ini files from the quartus/bin directory, but require quartus.ini files to be in the following locations:
- The quartus/<linux/solaris> sub-directories (as appropriate) within a Quartus II installation, if the quartus.ini is used for all projects
- A Quartus II project directory, if the quartus.ini is used for the current or local project only
Behavior on Linux is scheduled to be changed to mimic Windows behavior in a future release of the Quartus II software.
