Description

Due to a problem in the Quartus® Prime Standard Edition software version 18.1 and earlier, Platform Designer system generation may fail and exit with this error message. This only happens in Windows* 10 OS.

Resolution

To work around this problem, turn off the following Windows 10 feature, “Windows Subsystem for Linux”, restart your computer, and generate HDL for the Platform Designer system.
