Unable to lock chain <Hardware disabled>

Environment

BUILT IN - ARTICLE INTRO SECOND COMPONENT
Description You may receive the "Unable to lock chain <Hardware disabled>" message if you have a development kit with an on-board USB-Blaster™ II plugged into your computer and also have an external USB-Blaster plugged in. This is causing a conflict and locking the JTAG chain.
Resolution

Unplug the external USB-Blaster from the computer and you will now be able to use the on-board USB-Blaster II.
