Can I convert a programming file for an engineering sample (ES) device to a programming file for a production device or vise versa?

Description

No, you are not able to convert a programming file for an ES device to a programming file for a production device or in the reverse order. The only way to generate a new programming file would be to recompile the original design and target it to the required ES device or production device.

This is due to possible changes within the die or the device IDs.
