Preamble Pass Through Mode in 10-Gbps Ethernet MAC Does Not Meet Average IPG

Critical Issue

Description

10GbE MAC designs with the Enable preamble pass-through mode option turned on, the average inter-packet gap (IPG) is set to 16 instead of 12. Your designs will have lower throughput.

This issue will be fixed in a future version of the 10GbE MAC MegaCore function.
