Error (292019): Core Nios II Processor (6AF7_00A2) is not enabled for current device family

Due to a problem in the Quartus® II software version 12.1,  the following error may be generated for designs containing Nios® II  IP which target Arria® V GZ devices. 

Error (292019): Core Nios II Processor (6AF7_00A2) is not enabled for current device family

Due to this error the Quartus II Assember will not generate programing files.

A patch is available to fix this problem for the Quartus II software version 12.1.  Download and install Patch 0.25 from the appropriate link below.   After installing the patch regenerate your Qsys or SOPC builder system before recompiling your design in the Quartus II software.

For Linux:

• Download the Quartus II software version 12.1 Patch 0.25 for Linux (.tar)
• Download the Readme for the Quartus II software version 12.1 Patch 0.25 for Linux (.txt)

This problem is scheduled to be fixed in a future release of the Quartus II software.
