Why doesn't the CNT_RESET register of the Triple Speed Ethernet MegaCore Function clear the 64-bit statistic counters?

    Quartus® II Subscription Edition

Description

Due to a problem in the Triple Speed Ethernet (TSE) MegaCore® Function, the CNT_RESET register does not clear the following 64-bit statistic counters.

  • aOctetsTransmittedOK
  • aOctetsReceivedOK
  • etherStatsOctets
Resolution

Set SW_RESET to 1 to clear the octet counters.

This problem will be fixed in a future version of the Quartus® II software.
