Does the MAX PLUS II software support the USB-Blaster programming cable?

Description No, the MAX PLUS® II software does not support the USB-Blaster™ programming cable. The latest programming cable supported in the MAX PLUS II software is the ByteBlaster™ II programming cable.
Resolution To configure or program an Altera® device with the USB-Blaster programming cable,  upgrade to the Quartus® II software.
