Nios® II Consoles Do Not Work With Multiprocessor Project

Critical Issue

Description

If you are using the Altera Complete Design Suite (ACDS) version 10.1 or earlier, the launch groups do not work with multiple JTAG UARTs in multiprocessor projects.
When you launch a multiprocessor software project with a launch group, if the design uses multiple JTAG UARTs, multiple Nios II consoles appear, but only one of them is active.

Resolution

Launch the software projects individually.
Alternatively, install the ACDS version 11.0 or later.
