Why does the Intel® Stratix® 10 devices Temperature Sensor IP or Voltage Sensor IP hang in the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software versions 21.1 and 21.2? 

Due to a problem in the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 21.1 and 21.2, you may encounter that the Intel® Stratix® 10 devices are not functioning as expected when reading the temperature or voltage using the Temperature Sensor IP or Voltage Sensor IP. The rsp_valid and rsp_data might not be responding.

To avoid this error, download and install the following patch for Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software v21.2:

• Version 21.2 patch 0.06fw for Windows (.exe)
• Version 21.2 patch 0.06fw for Linux (.run)

This problem is fixed starting with the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 21.3.
