When compiling an OpenCL™ design using the a10_pac board support package (BSP), you may get an error similar to the following.
Error (16045): Instance "ccip_std_afu|bsp_logic_inst|board_inst" instantiates undefined entity "board" File
If this error appears, the environment variable ALTERAOCLSDKROOT may not be set to the correct directory.
To work around this problem, set the environment variable ALTERAOCLSDKROOT using the following command:
export ALTERAOCLSDKROOT=$INTELFPGAOCLSDKROOT
This command requirement is included in the latest version of the OpenCL™ on Intel® Programmable Acceleration Card with Intel Arria® 10 GX FPGA Quick Start User Guide at the link below.
This command requirement is scheduled to be removed in a future release of the Intel® Acceleration Stack for Intel Xeon® CPU with FPGAs.
