Description

Need to utilize our Microsoft Tenant ID to authenticate via Single Sign On (SSO) through the Microsoft Partner Portal to easily access Intel vPro® Fleet Services.

Resolution

Intel vPro®-based devices are designed for IT and end users. They include a capability called Intel® Active Management Technology (Intel® AMT), which provides hardware-level management independent of the operating system's state. Intel® AMT offers multiple use cases for remote control, including remote power control and remote graphical keyboard, video, and mouse (KVM) access, even when the operating system on the computer being managed is not functioning correctly. Intel® AMT must be activated and used with several different software tools. Intel® vPro Fleet Services is the newest addition to our software portfolio.

It is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) product hosted by Intel, designed to provide IT professionals with an easy-to-use, Intel-hosted solution for taking advantage of hardware-level management of the Intel vPro platform without the need to install software or host services yourself. To start with, Intel vPro Fleet Services supports power control, KVM remote control, and configuring Intel® Active Management Technology (AMT) in client control mode.

Additional features and capabilities will be added over time. Regarding the specific permissions and claims, see the list below. We are not using MSAL.
