Intel® Binary Optimization Tool: Enhanced Performance for Gaming

Intel® Binary Optimization Tool is an added feature that users can choose to enable, which optimizes software to run games and applications more efficiently on Intel hardware. Intel® Binary Optimization Tool is now available under advanced mode within the Intel® Application Optimization user interface for select processors. This feature is only available on select, recently released processors (listed below). Game titles may vary depending on specific processor and graphics card combination.

Intel® Application Optimization with default title optimization and Advanced Mode enabled without Intel® Binary Optimization Tool support. Notes
  • The ON/OFF option is provided for greater end-user control as a mitigation for any unexpected issues that might be found post in-game tuning for instance, if a new revision of the game affects the current tuning parameters, providing a no-harm option until a fix is made available.
  • Initially, Intel Binary Optimization Tool support will be limited to a select number of rigorously tested applications working in tandem with APO optimizations to minimize validation efforts.

Requirements:

Intel® Application Optimization and Intel® Binary Optimization tool require Intel® Dynamic Tuning Technology (Intel® DTT) driver for operation. This driver is now available for download as part of the unified driver Intel® Platform Performance Package. Notice: DTT or IPF must be enabled in BIOS for the application to operate.   • Intel® Core™ Ultra 7 Processor 270K Plus
  • Intel® Core™ Ultra 9 processor 290HX Plus
  • Intel® Core™ Ultra 7 processor 270HX Plus

Intel® Core™ Ultra Processors (Series 3) (product formerly known as Panther Lake).

  • Intel® Core™ Ultra 7 Processor 356H
  • Intel® Core™ Ultra 9 Processor 386H
Note

Intel® Arc™ G3 Processor Seriesare not supported for Intel® Application Optimization or Intel® Binary Optimization.

Getting Started with Intel® Binary Optimization Tool

  1. Check if your processor is supported in above section.
  2. Download the Intel® Application Optimization user interface now available within the Intel® Platform Performance Package.
  3. The Binary Optimization Tool can be enabled when you activate Advanced Mode in APO UI. Notice the disclaimers when checking the Advanced Mode box.
