How to Fix Intel® Graphics Software Installation/Uninstallation Issues

When updating Intel® Graphics drivers, the Intel Graphics Software (IGS) fails to uninstall properly. During the update process, a new version of the software may be installed, but the old version remains, often in a corrupted or partially removed state. Attempting to uninstall it prompts the system to locate a missing file (e.g., C:\Users\user\AppData\Local\Temp\RarSFX0\Resources\Extras\IntelGraphicsSoftware_25.6.1152.1_Release), which no longer exists. Clicking "Cancel" causes the process to hang in a loop, or falsely claim the software was removed, even though it remains listed in Apps & Features.
