Low Performance in Dead Island 2

Experiencing poor performance while trying to play Dead Island 2 on an Intel® Arc™ B580 GPU. Getting a possible 5-10 fps on ultra low settings, that creates a blurry mess.

1. Uninstall the graphics driver. Use DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) to completely remove any remnants of previous drivers
2. Install the latest graphics driver version for Intel ARC B580, which is 32.0.101.6647 or newer

If the issue is still the same, try the following:

1. Check BIOS Settings:

   • Ensure Resizable BAR (Smart Access Memory) is enabled.

   • Ensure Decode 4G is enabled.

2. Disable Integrated Graphics in the BIOS to prevent resource conflicts.

3. Perform a Clean OS Installation.
