Generating a report for EDID analysis, depends on the tool used. Please follow the steps below:
Intel Graphics Software
- The bug report feature of Intel Graphics Software has the option to create a report that includes the EDID table.
- Go to Settings tab in the left panel
- Click onSupport
- Click on Report an Issue/Bug
- Fill all the information requiered and make sure select Yes inInclude Diagnostics Report.
- The file is automatically attached to the bug report.
DxDiag
- DirectX Diagnostic Tool (DxDiag) is a diagnostics tool used to test DirectX functionality and troubleshoot video or sound related hardware problems.
- Press Win+R and Type DxDiag. Press Enter
- Alternatively you can open the start menu, type DxDiag and click over the icon for the tool.
- Click on Save All Information. The generated report includes the EDID table.
Intel Graphics Command Center
- For platforms not supporting Intel Graphics Software, you can use IGCC to generate a report that includes the EDID table.
- If IGCC is not yet installed on the Windows system, download and install the "Intel® Graphics Command Center" from the Microsoft Store.
- Launch the Intel® Graphics Command Center (IGCC) software.
- On the left side of the app, click on Support and then on top click System Diagnostic
- To the right, click on Generate Report and you will be prompted to save it as a txt file.
- Save the report which can be used for analysis.
