Intel® Core™ Ultra Processors (Series 2) are designed without Intel® Hyper Threading Technology (Intel® HT Technology). This technology allows a single physical core to act as two logical cores, effectively doubling the thread count.
Since these processors do not support hyper-threading technology, the number of the cores directly equals the number of the threads.
For example, if you have an Intel® Core™ Ultra 7 Processor 265 with 8 Performance-cores and 12 Efficient-cores, then the total number of the cores is 20 and the total number of the threads is 20 as well.
With more efficiency-cores working alongside performance-cores of this architecture, the processor can handle more tasks without needing traditional hyper-threading technology, which helps in reducing power consumption.
