Environment

Operating System

Windows 11, 64-bit*
Microsoft Windows* 11 SV2, Android* 9 and above

Description

After successfully installing the Intel® Unison™ PC App and pairing it with my Android* phone, if someone calls my mobile phone, I can see an incoming call toast notification on the bottom-right corner of my PC desktop. However, there is no ringtone audible through the PC’s speaker.

Resolution

This issue may stem from several factors. Try the following troubleshooting steps:

  1. Verify Bluetooth Connection:
    • Ensure that the Bluetooth connection between your PC and Android* phone is stable and properly connected.
  2. Check Audio Output Settings:
    • Confirm that your PC's audio output is directed to the correct device, whether it's the built-in speaker, USB headset, 3.5mm headset, or another audio output device.
  3. Consider Compatibility Issues:
    • Some of the third-party Android* devices may have Bluetooth ringtone compatibility issues with Windows*.
    • On certain Android* phones, the ringtone may be played from the mobile network rather than locally on the PC. This can result in the PC not playing the ringtone if the mobile device fails to forward it correctly.

If you continue to experience the similar issues, please consult the support documentation from your Android* device or contact customer support for further assistance.
